Developing custom applications requires a structured approach to be successful and efficient. INSYS is a recognized specialist in this space; we have a significant experience in developing & deploying such business-critical custom applications.
Agile Project Delivery Methodology
INSYS success in delivering quality projects and meeting customer expectations is due to our Agile Project delivery methodology. We try to leverage the client procedures combined with our own team skills and agile methodology that provides all project team members and stakeholders with a clear status, changes and goals through the lifetime of the project.
Each project that we do is split into a multiple serial iterations and overlapping tracks depending on the complexity, schedule constraints, and the identified risks of the project. This allows us to deliver faster while both being proactive and adaptive to change. Each iteration may vary in duration but its main goal is to always deliver a pre-planned additional value over its predecessor while increasing the project stakeholders’ knowledge of the system being developed. A project meeting is also held at the end of each iteration to document any important lessons learned and take them into consideration during the iterations to come.
All through the lifetime of the project, three tracks are continuously running, the Governance Track, Documentation Tack and the Operational Management Track. This is where Risk and Issue Management, Change Management, PMO and Team regular Meetings, Quality Assurance and some other important activities, that are rather project-level than Iteration-dependant, take place.
The Custom Application Development process normally includes, but is not limited to:
- Comprehensive and detailed analysis of the business needs
- Detailed Project Plan & Project Communication Protocol
- Preparation of design specifications
- Initial design concept
- Programming
- Testing/validation
- Training
- Implementation / Post Implementation Support / Defect Resolution
- Ongoing Development and Maintenance
